Cuba reopened November 15, 2021, 90 percent of its citizens are vaccinated.
October, 2021
Cuba set to reopen November 15, 2021 and predicts that 90% of its citizens will be vaccinated by that date.
This was announced last week in the country newspaper Granma. Cuba is planning to waive the current 5 night hotel quarantine requirement and to be able to welcome vaccinated passengers with no quarantine required.
CIT cannot wait to visit the people we love in Cuba again. Cuba has struggled with Covid as well as food and supply shortages. We are proud to say that some of our wonderful past travelers donated for N95 masks, vaccination syringes, and much more to the Cuban people. We will announce further details of the opening as soon as we get them from our ground team in Cuba. Please contact us if you would like to go to Cuba as we are now planning trips for 2o22. This will be the best way to support the Cuban people in their transition back to welcoming the tourist market and improving the economic conditions of the Cuban people.
To celebrate the reopening we have included sone of our group photos below from past travels!
